Hardy Heron Alpha 5 – Enable Java6 plugin in Firefox

6 Mar 2008I’m currently enjoying the latest Ubuntu development version Hardy Heron Alpha 5. It works great, just some small deskbar applets crashing at startup and java plugin does not install correctly into firefox. Here is the quickfix for enabling java in firefox: cd /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b3/plugins sudo ln -sf /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.04/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so .
